Scientist Dr. Nicholas Begich-actively involved in the public campaign against HAARP-describes HAARP as: "A super-powerful radiowave-beaming technology that lifts areas of the ionosphere (upper layer of the atmosphere) by focusing a beam and heating those areas. Electromagnetic waves then bounce back onto earth and penetrate everything-living and dead."
Dr. Rosalie Bertell depicts HAARP as "a gigantic heater that can cause major disruption in the ionosphere, creating not just holes, but long incisions in the protective layer that keeps deadly radiation from bombarding the planet."
It is related to fifty years of intensive and increasingly destructive programs to understand and control the upper atmosphere. It would be rash not to associate HAARP with the space laboratory construction which is separately being planned by the United States.
In addition to weather manipulation, HAARP has a number of related uses: "HAARP could contribute to climate change by intensively bombarding the atmosphere with high-frequency rays. Returning low-frequency waves at high intensity could also affect people's brains, and effects on tectonic movements cannot be ruled out.
Here we've got the clue on how Earthquakes are literally generated by the HAARP. The Tectonic Plates are the core layers of the Earth. The plates keep moving constantly, pushing against each other. When there is a sudden adjustment to their postions, it causes a mild displacement of the plates that are trying to fit in place. Now this "mild displacement" is the originator of the Earthquake. The amount and speed of this displacement reflects in the magnitude of the earthquake that we feel on the surface.
The ELF or Extremely Low Frequency that is generated by the HAARP when beamed through the atmosphere and into the the earth's crust which is possible, it gets reverberated from the crust. Now imagine this effect by comparing it to a scenario where you are listening to some Heavy Metal or some song with High Bass in your 5.1 Channel Home Theatre System. What happens is that you can actually feel the bass in your body though you can't hear it as cleanly as the Lead on the song. Though the Bass in an audio is low in frequency and amplitude, you could have noticed that the vibrations it causes in the woofer box is much greater than pretty much anything else in the song and its reverberations that resounds around the room is much more greater.
This effect is similar to what is taking place with the HAARP. When the Reverberations of the ELF tries to cut through the surface of the earth it causes multiple ripples on the surface thus replicating a natural phenomena. An insanely brilliant but evil aspect of this HAARP is that it can control the magnitude, location and eventually the amount of damage caused by the quake.
